Client Profile: Paradiso Insurance

For the rest of the winter (which seems like it will never end), we are featuring some of our clients that use original photography to market their businesses. Our first Client Profile is Paradiso Insurance in Stafford Springs, CT.

I met Chris Paradiso (below) in 2010, while photographing the Hartford Business Journal's 40 Under Forty Award winners (he was one of the winners). Since then, I have been providing branding photography for his business. Chris is a savvy businessman, a creative marketer and above all else, a wonderful human being. His energy is contagious. I love working with this guy. Here's a little Q+A with Chris on how his business uses professional photography.

(Quick plug for Paradiso Insurance...if you're in the market for an insurance agent, please call Chris Paradiso and his team. They will take great care of you. I have all my policies through them.)

Q: How do you use photography to promote your business?
Chris: I use photography for visual content marketing, which helps create a brand for my business. Our professional photographs get a lot of attention. We use them for our social media, calendars, emails and postcards as well.

Q: Why have you chosen to use original photography to market your business?
Chris: There is a huge difference between original photography and stock photos. Our business stands for who and what we are and I feel that the only way we can portray that is through original photography. It really helps us speak to our audience and show them what we're all about. Also, with original photography, there is always something new and exciting that we can share with our audience.

Q: How have your clients/audience responded to your marketing campaigns featuring original photography?
Chris: The response has been tremendous. Comments flood in on social media and everyone loves seeing our employees, my family and even our dog Max.

Q: How often do you recommend updating your company's photography "library?"
Chris: Every 3 months or every season is a good way to gauge when you should be having new images taken. I wouldn't recommend going over 6 months without new photos.

So, what type of photography do you use to promote your business? Is it stock photography? Maybe its something your intern shot with the company camera (if you have one)? Contact J. Fiereck Photography for a branding photography consultation. We can help you tell your story.
